Kiersten Henderson, Ph.D.

Kiersten Henderson joined Austin Capital Data Corp. (ACD) as a Data Scientist in 2017 and worked her way up to a Senior Data Scientist by 2019. While at ACD, her contributions spanned a range of projects including machine learning to predict which Biotech startups would IPO, and graph analysis to identify new candidate genes linked to congenital diseases.

Kiersten received her PhD from Cornell Medical School in Genetics and Cell Biology. She did her postdoctoral research on the cell biology of aging at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle and graduated from the Masters in Data Science (MIDS) program at UC Berkeley in December 2018.

Kiersten is currently the Director of Data Science at ioCurrents.
